How does the OpenSpace-Online® Software work?
OpenSpace-Online® is a text-based and highly encoded (448 Bit) server/client real-time internet conference system, which is available in English and German and usable in 16 languages around the world. Neither organizers nor participants are required to have prior knowledge or technical expertise. The method features successive phases, in which 5 to 125 persons can work simultaneously on a major subject that is current and important to them. The participants work together in a goal and solution-oriented manner for mostly 3 to about 4 hours. No external online moderator is needed. COMOSO, the virtual Facilitator guides all participants simply through the process of the conference. The participants themselves are the experts: They meet because of a shared interest in a major theme.

It is their knowledge, their questions, their suggestions, and their dedication that co-develop new ideas and solutions. The virtual-led technology guides all participants easily through successive phases as follows: opening circle, creating a shared agenda, discussing topics in various sessions, café talks and private one-to-one conversations, summarizing the sessions, prioritizing the hot topics of the day and planning for next actions or steps, and closing circle. Once the conference is finished, each participant receives an extensive documentation in convenient HTML- format at the press of a button. The report provides an ideal foundation for fast further work. It contains the entire content, results, arrangements and contact data produced during the meeting. It can be immediately used in either digital or printed form.
