OpenSpace-Online GmbH has developed a new Internet communication form, which especially promotes independent, responsible, respectful, and results-oriented cooperation, thereby helping to overcome the limitations of time and space. The development of this online method is based on the basic assumption that a great deal of the necessary knowledge is already present in every group and that the best answers, solutions, and agreements for additional steps can often be found in one's "own system".

The OpenSpace-Online® conference system makes it possible for about 5 to 125 persons from all over the world, motivated by their own interests and self-organization to meet quickly and at any time to work together in a goal and solution-oriented manner.
The Participants are the Experts in an OpenSpace-Online® Meeting
A code of values based on respect and self-responsibility forms the foundation for an autonomous and appreciative "working-together". Only the mutual interest in a higher ranking question or theme is the determining factor which attracts participants to take part in the conference. There is no predetermined agenda. The participants organize the session agenda themselves by introducing their questions and issues. Therefore, during an OpenSpace-Online® conference it is THE PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE THE EXPERTS. Based on our trust in the wisdom and knowledge of people, groups and organizations and the trust in self-organization one of our main development goals was to offer an online conference system, which allows conference organizers and their participants to go from strength to strength and to become more and more independent.
Therefore, it was clear from the very beginning on to create the online method without a “real human moderator”. Furthermore it was our goal to integrate a professional “Virtual Open Space Facilitator” which made the important orientation facts and right information available to every participant and at any time, but which is still remained discretely in the background.
This goal was achieved in an unique and excellent way and it is confirmed countless times by clients and their participants. We have never heard, that one participant have missed a “human facilitator”. Quite the contrary, organizers and participants are proud that the real-time collaboration process and all of the results and appointments are 100% THEIR OWN achievements. Throughout the whole length of the conference the participants are guided in a simple and intuitive way through the open philosophy behind the event and through the results-oriented process structure.
At the end of each conference, which mostly lasts between 3 and about 5 hours, all participants receive the detailed conference documentation. The documentation includes all important contents, information, and agreements and it supports the fast and sustainable further work.

This has the great advantage of allowing people who are interested in the major theme of the conference to meet immediately and to go through the phases of the OpenSpace-Online® and to determine the results together.
